Area: 6,300 Under Air / 7,050 Total
Scope: Design

Located on a busy road with minimal street exposure, this veterinary facility was designed to be visually striking while conveying professionalism and sophistication. The building is organized into three zones: a central, tallest volume housing group spaces such as the lobby, pharmacy, and operating rooms, flanked by smaller wings containing exam rooms and animal boarding areas. High ceilings with upper transom windows create a bright, welcoming environment, while smaller exam rooms provide intimate, private spaces for one-on-one consultations.

The long, narrow site with limited street frontage inspired a design that accentuates horizontality through dynamic elements folding from the ground and rooflines angled toward a triangular site corner. Durable materials—including raw concrete benches, composite exterior cladding, and natural aluminum louvers—were selected for heavy use and sun protection. A restrained palette is enlivened with primary-colored accents, creating a playful, welcoming atmosphere throughout the facility.
