Set along the river, this residence balances privacy, views, and feng shui alignment. Pitched roof forms, required by neighborhood guidelines, became defining elements both inside and out, expressed through exposed rafters, roof decking, and sculptural catchment features at key watershed points.
A steep rear drop allowed the second floor to rise above the tree canopy, opening panoramic views. The main level is organized around courtyards that dissolve boundaries between indoors and out, while outdoor living extends to shaded terraces, balconies, and a pool terrace for entertaining.
Materiality reinforces the design: a dark stone base anchors the home, white stucco defines the upper volume, and dark-stained rafters highlight the structure with contrast and rhythm.
